Our favourite Web Design trends for 2021
Websites are constantly improving and people continue to push the design to new levels. So we decided to write a blog on our favourite and most effective design trends for 2021 and show examples of these that we have completed.
Illustrations
Whilst Illustrations are nothing new, we were happy to see them becoming more prominent in web design during 2020. Custom Illustrations can really help with building a companies brand as well and being a great eye-catcher when found on a web page. Matching this with some animation, they can make great explainer videos getting your message across much clearer.
Minimalist Design
We have seen this stripped-back approach becoming more popular recently for multiple reasons. Having a minimalistic Hero Image (above the fold banner) allows for beautiful looking designs and the opportunity for the important content to really stand out. Not only this, but stripping your above the fold content can help with your website speed leading to increased benefits. Check out the beautiful website we made for The White Gallery. Visit Website
360° and 3-D modelling
This technology is nothing new, but due to the technology becoming much more affordable we are starting to see it slide into website design and what a beautiful addition it is. These images or videos can really catch the eye of any website visitor to spark interest in what you offer as seen on the website for Short CGI we did. Visit Website
Geometric shapes and patterns
Add some Geometric shapes and patterns to really capture the eye of any visitor with these being a beautiful way to display your content. Just like we did for our fashion designer client below.
Bold Typography
Large fonts and bold lettering seem to be becoming more popular with web design as it can look great, whilst also allowing for your brand name or key services to stand out and be easily noticed and remembered when potential customers are landing on your website. We even used some on our new website launched last year.
Conclusion
So here we have seen some of our favourite web design trends for 2021 and we hope to have given you some inspiration for your future website projects. If you have any more questions or need help designing and developing your website, please get in touch by clicking the button below.
