Post Quality Content
There needs to be a reason why someone is following your profile, and that reason is for your content. You need to give people something that is useful to them to make them keep coming back. Things like tips or articles on specific subjects generally work with the odd promotional post here and there, but you need to pick your strategy and stick with it. Don’t be posting about digital marketing and then promote your friends car that is for sale.
Having a strong social media presence is not as hard as you think due to the multiple online tools you can access that will help take you to the next level. My favourite is Hootsuite for helping me schedule posts so I don’t have to go to my individual accounts each day to post something. It doesn’t stop here, there are tools which help you find the best influencers and great content for your industry. These can help create quality content and save loads of time.
Post, Analyse, Repeat (The stuff that works)
What works for one business may not work for another, so you need to analyse your social media activity, finding out what content worked best and what times your posts got more engagement. From this you should get an idea of what is best, then you can repeat these kinds of posts and stop wasting your time on the others that don’t have any benefits.
You can analyse your posts in the reports the social media platform provides, they normally work well enough. However, there are other online tools that can analyse your social media activity.
So there you have it, 3 simple social media tips that will really help your business achieve its goals, please just stay consistent with it, don’t give up after a week of posting (tip number 4) and you will reap the benefits.
